John Osbon

John F. Osbon is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Osbon Capital Management.

Previously, John was a Managing Director at Credit Suisse First Boston and head of its Private Client office in Boston. Prior to that, he was a Managing Director and head of Atlantic Trust Pell Rudman in Boston.

John began his private wealth career at Morgan Stanley in 1982 where he held several positions, including head of the New England region. He opened Morgan Stanley's private wealth office in Boston in 2000.

John earned a BA from the University of Chicago, and an MBA in finance from the Columbia Graduate School of Business.

Highly committed to civic and arts organizations, John serves on the Board of Overseers for the Boston Ballet and the Development Board of Park Street School in Boston, and is a member of the vestry of St. Paul's Church on Nantucket.

Former associations include Adjunct Professor of Finance at Babson College Graduate School of Business; trustee of the Nantucket New School; Board of the Trustees of the Boston Lyric Opera, Board of the Trustees of the Boys and Girls Club of Nantucket, Board of Overseers the Boston Children's Museum, and Board of Overseers of the Peabody Essex Museum.

Mr. Osbon resides in Boston with his wife and their two children.
